End User Terms of Service — GitOps Deployments for Jira

By installing and using the GitOps Deployments for Jira app (the “App”), you agree to the following terms:

1. License

The App is provided as-is under the Elastic License 2.0 (ELv2). You are granted a non-exclusive right to use the App within your Jira Cloud instance.

2. Disclaimer of Warranty

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT.

3. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE APP OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE APP.

4. Responsibility for Configuration

You are responsible for the secure configuration of your GitOps webhooks (FluxCD/ArgoCD), including the management of HMAC secrets and bearer tokens.

5. Atlassian Terms

Your use of the App is also subject to the Atlassian Customer Agreement and Atlassian Acceptable Use Policy.

6. Termination

This agreement is effective until terminated. You may terminate it at any time by uninstalling the App from your Jira Cloud instance. We may terminate or suspend access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for any reason.

Upon termination, all rights granted under this agreement cease immediately. Sections 2 (Disclaimer of Warranty), 3 (Limitation of Liability), and this section survive termination.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to circumvent the App’s security mechanisms (including HMAC verification)
Use the App in a manner that could damage, disable, or impair the Atlassian platform

Your use must also comply with the Atlassian Acceptable Use Policy.

8. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted to this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
